Before I came to Christchurch, I think this is a place of sheep and farms.
However, once I have lived here long enough I realised there are still some amusing places and great places for sightseeing.
I am always amused whenever I come across a new place in Christchurch. You really need to spend time to fully understand the beauty of this city.
So I would like to introduce 
my five favourite places in Christchurch:
Although it might be familiar to people who live here, I am still excited to share with the people who haven't been here.
Ok, Let's get started
(I wouldn't include Westfield Mall in the list although I still love shopping anyway
)
Top 5 The Tannery
The Tannery is a place which makes me feel relaxed and I definitely feel like I am home whenever I am here.
The special building structure provides a different layout of the shops inside the building. This really brings an element of surprise when I first visited.
The flag hanging on the roof is the Mexican national flag.
Top 4 The Farmers Market ( @ Riccarton Bush)
This is what it normally looks like on a week day.
And this is what it looks like on a Saturday morning when the Farmers Market takes place.
I admit the only reason I wake up early on a Saturday morning is just because I want to come here. 
Most vendors sell fresh produce or meat but the ones I often visit are the ones who sell delicious cakes or bread.
Top 3 Rapaki track
Although hiking is something I do quite often in Taiwan, I think the view from this hill is even more impressive - mainly because it is just so beautiful here!
I never thought I'd be into nature..
BUT!!! I think probably everyone can understand the feeling of emerging yourself with the environment!!! 
Top 2 New Brighton (Beach)

I was comparing the New Brighton and the Sumner beaches but is it hard to choose which one is favourite as I get totally different feelings so....... uhh this is hard
There are two important reasons why I chose New Brighton over Sumner.
1. Because there is a Library and a supermarket (meaning I can buy ice cream here!!!!!!!!!)
2. I have been here more often than Sumner lol
You may not disagree with me because you may think the two reasons I have mentioned are not real reasons - BUT I DON'T CARE!!!!! 
Top 1 Hagley Park
It is my absolute favourite!
Why? Don't even ask - just use your imagination.

Christchurch is Christchurch... There are only a few places you can name.
